Work is scoped in advance, dispatched when the working window opens. No surprises in October when the passes close.
Spares carried in
Caches built at Leh during the working window, so a fault doesn't wait for the next Delhi flight.
Engineers rotated and acclimatised
We don't send someone who arrived in Leh yesterday. Acclimatisation is part of the brief, not a footnote.
Backup kit for the failure modes that don't exist in the valley
UPS, solar, surge protection for sites that lose mains in February. Cold-rated housings. Voltage stabilisation for the generator-fed sites.
Winter standby
For sites that cannot fail between October and April, we keep an on-call engineer and a pre-positioned spare kit in Leh.
